You send your address, and I'll make sure one gets to you.

The cover art is part of a series of four paintings I have commissioned from Mark Lemon of Atlanta, Georgia. The first of my Louisiana Quadrille, Fire in the Cane Field, depicts the Battle of Georgia Landing and the 8th New Hampshire learning that the Confederates where at hand and disinclined to move.

The second, The Capture of the U.S.S. Diana, shows the guns of the Val Verde Texas Battery getting into position to play upon the Federal gunboat on the lower Atchafalaya below Pattersonville, Louisiana.

I am still deciding on #3 and #4. The third installment will include Taylor's Lafourche incursion, the Texas Overland Expedition, and Banks's operations on the Texas coast. So, potential paintings include the Battle of Fort Butler (night action, may be too dark), Koch's Plantation (already have one set in the Lafourche, see above), or something along Bayou Carencro or Borbeau.

I am pretty sure #4 will be Blair's Landing, maybe from the perspective of the Union gunboats firing on Tom Green's Texans.

I still welcome input, though!
