Re: La. State Historic Sites to close?

This is really a poor decision by the Jindall administraiton, one I support. Wow, not smart. Tourism is a major source of our bread and butter and honestly there just arent many battlefield parks in Louisiana. To close the two biggest we got M-F? Well, boys, its not 1861 but instead 2009...to the emails we go. Its the only way to put heat on those people in Baton Rouge. $14 million dollar cut? I got an idea, instead of increasing the state budget because we have a surplus we control our spending? Nah, increase the budget to where we are back where we started and then cut the state parks. I can think of several other governmetn agencies that could use the $14 million cut.
