Re: La. State Historic Sites to close?

Hi Steve,
I was in the Piney Woods, yes I got wet but I didn't melt or get hypothermia like three I know. In fact the weather made the event that it turned out to be, and I enjoyed myself very much. I was at BGR as well, Fred, Tom, and the rest of the Texas Ground Hornets know how to put on an event. They are the real deal. I wished I could have met you after the event had it made it to Saturday. I hope to pick up a copy of your book at some future date. To the fellow who posted I should send my post to the Governor and state tourism agency, please forward my post for me, you have my blessing. I am running short of time, and am not as computer savvy as some of you. I feel those parties may learn something from it if they are open to it, if not, they will close their minds to it and we all loose. Who knows, they may close State Archives next, and then all of us historians and genealogists will just have to focus on ______. (Feel free to fill in your own word.)
