The information you provided is very useful and enlightening. It gives me an idea of the situation that G. H. Dennis found himself in during that period of time. I wasn't certain exactly when he may have quickly exited Morgan County, but I do know when he left, he probably left his own father behind, if he wasn't dead already. The clues are there.

Thank you for the information on the Wilson Clain. You are very well versed in your Civil War craft. For that I thank you and appreciate the time taken with me in my venture. Your information is invaluable.

I cannot possibly express my appreciation for your assistance in my searches. It is a rare thing that you do. I never expected such well versed people like yourself and George Martin to be so forthcoming in your search efforts.
