I was fortunate to be given the opportunity to read an advance copy of Scott L. Mingus' new book "The Louisiana Tigers in the Gettysburg Campaign" that is scheduled for an October release by LSU Press. I highly recommend it. Not only does Scott tell in great detail the Tigers' combat record at Second Winchester and Gettysburg, he also relates many stories of the Tigers' interaction with the Pennsylvania civilians. It is well researched and written and very entertaining. Good job Scott!
