I really do thank all of you for the past help you have given me in researching my Civil War families. I have learned more about the war from this groups’ help than I ever learned in school!

I understand that a number of Louisiana Confederate military units changed names, were disbanded, or were consolidated during the war. Can anyone tell me what any of these became or what happened to them:

1. Delhi Guards, La. Mil. Capt. D. Pinkney Smith, Ind.
2. Morehouse Avengers Co. 25th. La. Infty.
3. Morehouse Rangers, La. Cavalry. Capt. Danl. Newton.
4. Morehouse Fencibles, Co. E. 3rd. La. Infty.
5. Morehouse Guards., Co. B. 3rd. Battn 3rd. La. Infty.
6. Morehouse Southrons, Co. H. 17th. La. Infty.
7. Morehouse Stars Co. F 12th. La. Infty.

I am trying to locate/trace William Fuller who possible served in one of these. Fuller was supposedly from Delhi, Louisiana and was killed during the first year of the war.
