May 3, 1864; disabled by wounds Recd. Battle of Sharpsburg, Sept. 17, 1862; now on Conscript duty in East Louisiana. Federal Rolls of Prisoners of War, Captured near Tangipahoa, La., Nov. 30, 1864. Forwd. to New Orleans, La., Dec. 19, 1864; turned over May 15, 1865, at Vicksburg, Miss., by John Hamilton, 2nd Lt., 1st U. S. Inf.
