Col _?_ Harrison at Montgomery, La.

In the ORN Vol 26 pp. 168-9 there is a report from Major General Richard Taylor dated April 27, 1864 in the field in which he mentions

..."Yesterday morning Colonels Likens and Harrison attacked four gunboats and two transports at Montgomery. One of the gunboats was a heavy ironclad casemated boat, and had been unable to pass the bar below Montgomery. The other boats remained to assist her. About 9 a.m. our sharpshooters opened and killed many of the enemy, his men being exposed in all directions working. After some delay the gunboats opened a heavy fire and commenced moving down. The large ironclad struck on the bar, when the enemy blew her up and continued down the river, our men following for some distance. A small party of General Liddell's command cooperated from the opposite bank. We lost 2 killed and 4 wounded."...

I would like to know the full name of Col Harrison and the name of his unit. I am also curious to know if there is a historical marker in Montgomery to commemorate the fight. Any help is appreciated. I am doing research for a future book on Likens' 35th Texas Cavalry that I plan to write, hence the interest.
