If anyone on the board has access to copies of the "Louisiana Historical Quarterly," I would appreciate some assistance. Volume XXVI (1943) contains the following article: Frank E. Vandiver, ed., "A Collection of Louisiana Confederate Letters." There is at least one by a member of the 31st Louisiana Infantry Regiment. I am trying to determine if the latter contains any reference to Brigadier General Albert G. Blanchard, who was commanding in north Louisiana at the time the 31st Louisiana was stationed in the Monroe area. Thanks in advance for any help.
