IF I remembered correctly there was a book that contained the type of equipment, uniform, etc issued to various CW Units. Does anyone know the name of this book. I can see the page (looks fuzzy to me) I looked at previously as it relates to rifles issued. Or, it could just be a senior moment. ;-)
Also, are there records at NARA that might indicated equipment issued to CW Troops. Went to the NARA site was could not pull up any microfilm reel number that might be of use.
I am interested in equipment issued to Co E and F of the 8th Louisiana. Past attempts (5+ years ago) did not result in 'unit specific' information being found, but am trying again.
