Jim, I failed to address your question about maps. Don't know about websites but you might try the Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania National Military Park. Two books I was going to check in the office are Don Pfanz's "Richard S. Ewell" and Gordon C. Rhea's "The Battles for Spotsylvania Court House."
