W N McGee

I am seeking information on W N McGee. I belong to a SCV Camp in Weldon, North Carolina and we have a cemetery with about 150 Confederate soldiers buried here that died at the wayside hospital in Weldon during the War. According to an article in the Confederate Veteran magazine in 1928 this hospital was in the charge of Mr. W N McGee, a Louisiana Zouave. Among the men listed as having died in Weldon is Charles E. Gill, Co. A, 1st (Nelligan's) La. died May 25th, 1862. On October 11, 2009 a stone inscribed with the names and regiments of these men who died in Weldon will be dedicated. You may find a complete listing of these men at http://www.ncudc.org/NewsRelease.html

Any information on McGee or Gill would be appreciated.
