Thomas Reid, author of "Spartan Band: Burnet's 13th Texas Cavalry in the Civil War" will be speaking to the Civil War Round Table of Central Louisiana on Thursday, October 8th at 6 PM. For one time only, the meeting will be held to Kees Park Community Center in Pineville (2450 Hwy. 28 East). His talk will be on "The 13th Texas Cavalry in the Red River Campaign" with a short presentation on "Unusual Research Sources for CS Regimental Histories".
