Looking for some help on Patrick Murray / Murry. I find 2 Patrick Murray / Murry's on the National Park Service website for Civil War soldiers: Patrick Murray 1st "Strawbridge" La. Inf. Company E, Condfederate. The second one Patrick Murray 1st. LA. Infantry Company G, Union. He was born in Ireland and lived in Massachusetts before the War. Married a Catherine Kilduff in 1854. In 1868 he was appointed a patrolman of the Metropolatin Police District of New Orleans, LA. He died in 1883 and is buried in Burchard, Pawnee County, Nebraska. Was he a galvinized soldier? WOuld like to find out. How do I go about this? Thanks for your help.
