David Floyd, director of the Louisiana State University Rural Life Museum in Baton Rouge, will speak to the Civil War Round Table of Central Louisiana this Thursday, November 5, 2009 at the Main Street Community Center (708 Main Street) in Pineville, Louisiana. His subject will be "Louisiana's Vernacular Architectural Forms", a study of the construction techniques of Louisiana's plantation homes.
