On Thursday, February 4, 2010 at 6 PM, the Civil War Round Table of Central Louisiana is hosting Dr. David Slay of Vicksburg National Military Park. Dr. Slay will speak on "The Battle of Resaca, Georgia: The Opening Gambit". The meeting will be held at the Main Street Community Center, 708 Main Street, Pineville, Louisiana. There will also be a book raffle. The public is invited to attend. As always, first time visitors are free each new campaign season.
