Thanks Larry...I know its still a mystery.Giles Lyons Wilson disapears after the 1880 Claiborne Parish census.His wife Survella Adeline Oxford Wilson is buried at Garland,Tx..Family legend has it she received some type of small pension. Ive checked the Texas Civil War Veterans pensions and that wasnt it...I suspect Wilson is buried in Texas somewhere and have been searching for many years but no luck..Need to find him and get a CSA marker.

Have you been to Homer.They have a beautifull court house.
