How would I go about finding out if there were any Confederate reunions in North Louisiana? My GG Grandfather Matt Haynes was in the " Claiborne Rangers" Louisiana 12 infantry. He survived the war, became a preacher and lived until Sept. of 1915 in Shongaloo, LA. I was thinking that if they had any reunions close to him he probably would have attended them. If so there possibly could be a picture of him at one of these reunions. I have a couple of really old pictures that I found in a trunk at Matt Haynes grandaughters house ( my great aunt). There is no name on the pictures but I hoped on of them could be Matt. If I could find any reunion pictures I could compare them to the pictures I found.
