Gator, I found this old topic and I hope you see my reply. I am interested in the S.C.V. and would like some information on how to join. I have a lot of Confederate ties to our area. My GG Grandfather Matt Haynes was in the LA 12th infantry. My GG Grandfather Nathaniel Strong was in the LA 4th cavalry. His son William N. Strong and son in laws Martin Gryder and Barnard Lee were also in the LA 12th. I would really like to watch a grave dedication in our area sometime. I live above Minden in S. Arkansas but I work in Minden. Also I would love to see those pictures you had of the grave dedication in Minden if you still have them on your computer.
