On an earlier thread in which I was trying to find more info on my ancestor/veteran Henry T. Taylor, I was advised to search the "Louisiana Historical Association archives at Tulane University. Dr. Wilbur Meneray and his staff will be glad to answer any question you might have."

Just to let the board know that he has retired and the person in charge told me "there is no one specializing in civil war research at this time. Nor is there any current plan to put up on the web or digitize any of their collection of CW archives".

What a loss, it seems.
