Me and a friend took a drive out to Vienna to check it out one day. Vienna is nothing but an intersection of two roads. We tried to ask some locals, but as expected they did not know anything about a Confederate camp. The camp at Vienna was a training camp for the 28th LA Inf. (Grey's). Grey moved the 28th to Vienna to keep them away from the temptations of Monroe so that the 28th could focus on becoming a well drilled and disciplined regiment. Gary Joiner claims that he knows where the camp location was, but never said where.
