He is last shown as on Extra Duty as a Painter on the Company Jan & Feb 1862 muster roll. There are no further records in his file.

The next company muster roll extant is that for the period Nov & Dec 1862 with 4 more bi-monthly muster rolls through December 1863 following.

He unfortunately is dropped from the rolls before the Nov/Dec 1862 muster, either due to: discharge, desertion, disability, resignation, death, capture, etc. Capture would appear to be unlikely as there should be Federal POW records in his file recording this status.

The reason for his being dropped would have shown up on one of the 4 missing bi-monthly muster rolls, and nothing recorded on following rolls.
