The Louisiana in the Civil War Message Board

Re: Richard Balshaw, La. Conf. Artillery Unit Civi

I have a real mystery on my hands. Richard Balshaw seems to have disappeared. His wife had no more children and was in the census of 1870 by herself with her two sons in Louisiana. I might be able to trace him back to England, but wish I could find out where he was or/and if buried somewhere. Feel like I've hit a brick wall, but thank you all for the input. I really appreciate it. Again, any suggestion would help.
