Seeking to trade research in LA for DC research

Ladies and Gentlemen:

I am a published author (about 150 titles, including 2 books + 1 in preparation) and retired attorney in Washington, DC. Generally, my area of interest is how to do research in genealogy.

I seek to trade research on the Confederate ship Jura and its Captain James Day in 1865 or just before. Both are listed in separate databases on the Young-Sanders Center for the Study of the War Between the States in Louisiana website. If you are willing to do the work and send me the results, please contact me. I would be willing to trade a roughly equivalent amount of research at the Library of Congress, the U. S. National Archives, or at virtually any other institution in Washington, DC, that makes its records and publications available to the interested public.

Thank you.

Sincerely,
Edward Luft
Juris Doctor
