The 5th campaign season of the Civil War Round Table of Central Louisiana begins on Thursday, September 2, 2010 at 6 PM at the Main Street Community Center located at 708 Main Street in Pineville. Our speaker will be Scott Deerman, manager of the Mansfield State Historic Site. Scott served for many years as the park's Interpretive Ranger before being appointed manager recently. Not only does Scott know the details of the battle, but he is also familiar with the topography of the battleground as he traverses it often.
