Brady, John E., Pvt. Co. E. 1st (Nelligan's) La. Infty. En. Sept. 4th, 1861, New Orleans, La.
Present on Rolls to Feb., 1862. Roll for March and April, 1862, Present. Age 16 years last May.
Roll for May and June, 1862, Present. Under age; not mustered into service. Age 17 years. Roll
to Oct. 31st, 1862, Discharged on account of being a Non Conscript. Roll for March and April,
1863, Present. Re-enlisted April 1st, 1863, Camp Seymour. Roll for May and June, 1863, Absent,
with leave; sick. Wounded at battle of Chancellorsville, May 3rd, 1863. Rolls from July, 1863,
to Dec., 1863, Present. Roll for Jan. and Feb., 1864, Absent, without leave; supposed to have
joined H. E. Edmonds Co. H. 41st Battn. Va. Cavalry. Roll for March 1st, to Aug. 31st, 1864,
Absent without leave.

Perhaps we could find more if you can provide more details. Middle initial, spouse's name etc.

Please note there are other soldiers named "John Brady" in Booth's Rcord of Louisiana Confederate Soldiers.
