Microfilm Publication M331, Washington, D.C.: National Archives and Records Administration, lists an Isaiah H. White from Va. appointed Asst. Surg. 19 July 1862 to rank from 8 April 1862. His record shows he was Surgeon, 14th La., from at least 24 May 1862 to 3 May 63. He was subsequently the Surgeon at Andersonville Prison from March 1864 through June 1865 when he was arrested and tried by court-martial.
