Was going through some Louisiana Confederate State records, and came across Special Order 124 or 22 March 1862 directing the "Enfield Rifle Battalion" under Major F. W. C. Cook to attach to the 2nd Brigade of Louisiana Militia (Labuzan's). I cannot locate any other reference to this unit or to Major Cook in any of the normal source's (Booth's, Bergeron, etc). Any one have the history on this unit?
