Has anyone seen on Ebay the pocket watch purported to have belonged to Col Joseph Bailey? It is engraved, “To Colonel Bailey, In Grateful Appreciation of Yankee Ingenuity on the Red River, From Friends and Fellow Officers, May 24, 1864”. Anyone have any idea if its genuine? I would sure like to see it in a Louisiana museum if it is.
