U of L at Lafayette Press - Great Deals!

For my fellow Louisianians and anyone interested in history titles related to the state of Louisiana, may I suggest you check out the University of Louisiana at Lafayette Press website? I was shocked to see a copy of the "great" book by David Edmonds, "Yankee Autumn in Acadiana" at $5.00. In addition, here are some other Civil War-related titles:

A Man and His Boat: The Civil War Career and Correspondence of Lieutenant Jonathan H. Carter, CSN is the story of a Confederate naval officer's heroic struggle to complete a warship in the face of severe wartime material shortages.

The African American Experience in Louisiana - Part B
From the Civil War to Jim Crow
Louisiana Purchase Bicentennial Series in Louisiana History, Volume XI
edited by Charles Vincent

The Civil War in Louisiana - Part A
Military Activity
Louisiana Purchase Bicentennial Series in Louisiana History, Volume V
edited by Arthur William Bergeron, Jr. (We miss you Art!)

The Civil War in Louisiana - Part B
The Home Front
Louisiana Purchase Bicentennial Series in Louisiana History, Volume V
edited by Arthur William Bergeron, Jr.

These are some outstanding titles at great prices. Just thought some of you on the LACWM would be interested.
