I'm trying to locate a document in the Brent Papers, which are part of the Jackson Barracks Civil War Collection. It is a letter dated 10 May 1865 from Lt. David C. Paul to Maj. David F. Boyd. I've searched three reels of microfilm at the Louisiana State Archives in the likely places, but cannot find the document. It's referenced in A Thrilling Narrative, The Memoir of a Southern Unionist, by Captain Dennis E. Haynes, edited by Arthur W. Bergeron, Jr. Does anyone know of a more detailed finding aid than what is published in Louisiana History (vol. 3, #3)? Thanks, Judy
