I belong to the 6th Kentucky Infantry Regiment, Company "D", we have found a marked grave of a Civil War soldier from the 11th Louisiana in Horse Cave, Ky. No name just the unit. Can anyone help me locating any missing men from this unit. We believed he escaped from the Louisville Military prison. We are laying a wreath on the grave on Saturday January 28th, and it would be nice to have a name to go with this veteran.
