A New Moniker?

From a book I have been reading (A British Subject’s Recollections of the Confederacy While a Visitor and Attendant in it’s Hospitals and Camps), perhaps a new moniker” for the 1st Louisiana Brigade (Taylor/Hays): “Jackson's troops at this time got to Richmond, when the Seven Days' fight began, and the Louisiana troops specially covered themselves with glory. The bravest of the brave was the 8th Brigade, or the IRON CLAD, Jackson's food cavalry, who were conspicuous in every engagement.”

FYI - The 8th Brigade is the military organizational number/name (someone with better terminoloy could provide) for the 1st La in the ANV.
