I'm searching for the location of a skirmish called Crumps Corner. Also would anyone know the route Gen. Banks army takes upon leaving Marthaville,La.,prior to reaching Pleasant Hill ? I find it hard to believe that if Banks is trying to meet deadlines, he would continue from Marthaville on this Westerly route...no doubt there were roads back then we have no idea existed...does anyone know for sure ? Any and all help appreciated.
