Thank's...very interesting. It would appear that from Pleasant Hill Taylors "battle boundary" would have been more or less the road from Pleasant Hill to Blairs Landing,Blairs Landing to Alexandria, the Bayou Rapides Road, Bayou Roberts Roads (being key players)...Marksville,eventually reaching Yellow Bayou vicinity.
I'm having difficulty in locating two key positions concerning the Battle of Monetts Ferry...One is Beasley's and the other is Carrol Jones...I located a Carroll Jones House in the vicinity of Natchez, La, and a James Beasley buried in the cemetery of Lotus, La. but I can not confirm that these are the locations mentioned in Taylor's reports or Bee's reports concerning Monetts Ferry.
Appreciate any help concerning this matter also.
