As far as I can see there is not a Find A Grave Memorial for this Confederate Colonel. It appears he was born about 1821 and died in 1891 in Iberia Parish, Louisiana.

He was a temporally Colonel in the 18th Alabama Infantry and later would become the namesake for 1st Regiment Louisiana Infantry (Stawbridge's)

He was a POW at Fort Delaware late in the war.

Hopefully someone will double check this information and if he has no Find A Grave Memorial perhaps one should be made.
