Thanks George, For some reason Colonel Strawbridge has much more information with the 18th Alabama than the namesake of his regiment.
It does not appear he was very well liked by some of his soldiers as one corporal stated "I'm glad to see him go"
He also was in charge of hospital supplies in Madison, Georgia after Sherman passed through. I was unaware of hospitals in Madison, Georgia after Sherman had left. As luck would have it I'm staying in Madison, Georgia at this very time.
