My book "Confederate Colonels" has a bio of Col. Strawbridge. BTW it will be sold at the U. of MO table during the upcoming Organization of American Historians meeting in New Orleans.
Strawbridge was a relative of the Strawbridges who started Strawbridge's Department Store in Philadelphia. He died in Washington LA 2-27-1891. Born 8-11-1821 Philadelphia, but raised in New Orleans. Attended Princeton U. I've never located his place of burial.
