George, to add further: he died at the home of his son Edward Hepburn Strawbridge (d. 2-19-1905 New Orleans). Mrs. E. H. Strawbridge donated many family items to the LA State Museum.
Edward's property was probably around Plaisance, about 5 miles west of Washington. It does not appear he was buried in New Orleans, like his sister Sarah D. (d. 1903) or son Edward. At a guess, he's either buried on the property, or in nearby Washington.
