There is a company in Col George Clark's Continental Regiment called the Waterman Guards commanded by Warren Davis. Warren Davis later appears as a Lt. in the 19th La. Inf. but there is nobody named Penny listed in that regiment.

Are there any other names mentioned in the article? Were they infantry, artillery or cavalry?

I will try and checkout all the companies raised in Tensas Parish but that may take some time.
