Unless you’re seeing something that I’m not, I’m still not getting any ansewers to my initial question; did this event even happen, and if so, where did it happen and who was the woman who did it? The only primary account I can find if this event happening is from Butler’s autobiography, but he doesn’t give the name of the woman, or the location. History has taken it and ran with it, but besides Butler saying that it happened, where else is the evidence? Who was the woman? Where did it happen, besides “in the Quarter”, etc.
