I am researching a Henry P. Vincent who enlisted in Co. L 12th Louisiana Infantry and was listed as a musician. He served from 1861-1865. I believe that he is the 1860 census, in Claiborne LA , enumerated as H.P. Vincent age 23 ( born about 1837). The man that I am looking for married Nancy Holman (?) and they had two children, David Hampton and Christena Elnora. That is all that I have been able to find and I would be very interested in any other information about this man.
