William Washington Green was my great great great grandpa and there is proof he served in the 28th Louisiana regiment Co I. Their is Muster Roll that proves that. He was NOT a jayhawker. During the war he came home to visit his family and Jayhawkers dragged him out of his home with family crying and took Lemuel Jackson Bradford and him out in the woods, dig their own grave, and shot them in it. His 12 year old son also served in the Confederacy as well who is my great great grandpa.
