Tell us who your Confederate grandfathers were if you like. You never know. Some of ours may have served together in the war.

I was thrilled recently with a visit to the Confederate Memorial Hall in New Orleans. They were kind enuff to unfold two battleflags of the 12th Louisiana Infantry. A grandfather Giles L Wilson's unit. Everyone should try and visit this place. It is magnificent.

In addition I paid a visit to Generals Beauregard, Hood and Taylor at the Metairie Cemetery. And of course General Jackson's great victory at Chalmette has not been erased from our history books. At least not yet...…...
