a side note, my Grandfather Richard B. Pittman, Co. f, 7th Miss, KIA Chickamauga, should have a grave in Marietta but his grave cannot be found. There doesn't not seem to be any record of his body being moved off the battlefield and relocated in Marietta, perhaps like him there are others whose remains are not recorded.
