I am doing some research on the obscure Supreme Court case Mrs. Alexander’s Cotton (https://supreme.justia.com/cases/federal/us/69/404/#F13) — a civil war case (1864) relating to seized cotton as part of the Red River campaign.

Mrs. Alexander is Elizabeth Alexander and her husband is William Alexander. She moved Avoyelles ~1835 (allegedly) and was born in 1803. I am trying to gather as much information as possible. Would anybody happen to have any information on her?
