River miles between Port Hudson and Vicksburg

Arguably the most important miles in America in 1863 was the river miles between Vicksburg and Port Hudson. How many miles was that? If you Google it, you'll find that it was between 110 and 300 miles. National Park Service says 350. I'd say a more accurate mileage would be somewhere between 222 (according to Lloyd's Steamboat Directory, 1856) and 230 (Dept. of the Gulf Map No. 2, New Orleans to Vicksburg, January 14, 1863). Does anyone know of any "official" record of that distance?
