I am looking for any and all information and articles concerning the Yankee Ship, USS Diana, whose boiler blew up in the Gulf of Mexico off the coast of Louisiana on 28 March 1864 with Commander (?) Thomas Lombard Peterson in charge...he was killed. Thank you for what ever you might know.
