I am still in the research stage of the project and expect to be in this stage for quite some time. It's difficult to predict when the book will actually be written--in my experience, these projects always take considerably longer than anticipated! Realistically, it will probably be several years before the book is actually published. Right now, I'm working on two essays about Dan Adams that will be published in two different books sometime next year. As for first-hand accounts, there are quite a few of them, but most appear to be written by soldiers born in the U. S. Thanks for your interest!
