We have posted on The Pelican Battery Website, a picture taken in 1907 of veterans of the original Pelican battery posing for a picture and also at their stations at what is identified as the actual Parrot rifle they used in the war. Can anyone advise where this picture was taken at and if the gun still exists? It appears to have appeared in a newspaper that is not identified. Would anyone know which paper this was and if it still is published? From the looks of it, the picture was at a courthouse or a town square. Thanks in advance.
